Job summary

AbbVie seeks an engineering leader to drive capital strategy and master planning for capital projects across facilities, utilities, and equipment. You will manage a team of engineers, develop the long-range capital plan, and ensure financial compliance and lifecycle cost optimization.

The role requires senior-level collaboration with management, strong program management, and proven experience in Biopharma engineering leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 10+ years in engineering/operations.
Biopharma industry leadership experience highly desirable.
Strong communication with senior management and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Provide daily leadership to the Project Engineering department and manage personnel & training.
Lead the project strategic planning of next fiscal year capital plan.
Administer the annual site capital plan and department budget.
Deliver LBE and ensure financial targets for capital projects.
Oversee asset management, project lifecycle and energy sustainability programs.
Drive site long-range capital plans from development to submission.
Ensure compliance with policies and EHS requirements; promote continuous improvement.
Maintain engineering/commissioning documents in CAD repository; keep up to date.
Define capital project scope, develop RCE, design, and oversee commissioning.
Oversee the Site Master Plan
