Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Regional Project Controls Lead for Infrastructure in the US South region. The role leads regional Project Controls teams and partners with leadership to establish a consistent framework across business centers.

The position collaborates with Regional Delivery, Finance, and Growth Leaders on margins, risk, and resource deployment while monitoring performance and advising on action. A bachelor's degree and a decade of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least ten years in project controls, finance, or PM.
• Experience leading teams and influencing senior leaders across a broad portfolio.
• Advanced understanding of Earned Value Management, gross margin, forecasting, DSO, and governance.
• Experience leading organizational change, building teams, and establishing consistent operating practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Controls teams across the assigned region and coordinate priorities with leaders.
• Partner with Regional Delivery, Business, and Growth Leaders on portfolio margin and risk.
• Review regional R3, PCSR, and related reporting to identify trends and risks.
• Participate in financial-management forums and provide concise recommendations and escalation.
• Monitor regional project performance and address margin impacts with leadership.
• Develop and implement the Project Controls framework, standards, procedures, and processes.
• Guide regional leaders on controls strategy, governance, staffing, and implementation.
• Lead change management and capability development across the region.
• Promote collaboration across regions and transfer best practices.
