Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Regional Project Controls Lead for Infrastructure in the US West region. The role leads regional project controls teams, aligns governance, and advances a consistent controls framework across business centers.

You will partner with regional leadership on portfolio performance, risk, and resourcing while facilitating capability development and change management across multiple groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in project controls, project accounting, finance, project management, or related field.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and influencing senior leaders across a broad portfolio.
• Advanced understanding of cost-based Earned Value Management and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Controls teams across the assigned region and coordinate priorities with leaders.
• Partner on portfolio margin, risk, resourcing, and performance initiatives.
• Review regional reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities needing action.
• Participate in financial-management forums and provide decision-oriented recommendations.
• Monitor regional performance and address margin impacts with Finance and Operations.
• Own and implement the Project Controls framework, standards, and processes.
• Guide regional leaders on strategy, governance, staffing, and implementation.
• Lead change management and capability development for consistent practices.
• Promote collaboration across regions and share lessons learned.
