Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Regional Project Controls Lead for the US South region. The role provides regional leadership for project controls, aligning strategy with business goals and developing a consistent framework across centers.

Responsibilities include guiding resource strategy, governance, and performance initiatives while partnering with regional leaders to optimize margins and project delivery. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in project controls or related fields.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and influencing senior leaders across a broad portfolio.
• Advanced understanding of Earned Value Management, forecast accuracy, gross margin, DSO, risk, and portfolio governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Controls teams across the assigned region and coordinate priorities and deployment with leaders.
• Partner with Regional Delivery, Business and Growth Leaders on portfolio margin, resourcing and performance.
• Review regionally reported metrics to identify trends, risks, and action opportunities.
• Participate in financial-management forums and provide concise, decision-oriented recommendations.
• Monitor regional project performance and coordinate with Finance and Operations to address issues.
• Develop and implement the Project Controls framework, standards, and processes with senior leadership.
