Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support Services to the Armed Forces and International Services programs. This mobility-driven role deploys to overseas locations for 6 months with remote training and in-person sessions, requiring readiness for austere environments.

You will manage emergency communications, volunteer relations, program delivery, and field coordination on military installations, ensuring compliance with policies and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, human resources management, or related field is required.
• Minimum of five years related experience in program management or related field is required.
• Requires strong computer skills and public speaking abilities.
• Familiarity with military culture, regulations and protocol is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency communications messages and related support services to military members and their families.
• Monitor and document program activities and reporting.
• Build relationships with military leadership and installation partners.
• Recruit, mentor and manage volunteers across SAF/IS and related programs.
• Oversee service delivery; coordinate briefings, workshops and events.
• Support deployment readiness and operational logistics for mobile teams.
