Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support SAF and IS programs. You will manage emergency communications, volunteer networks, and deployment readiness for overseas assignments across military installations.

A strong background in program management and collaboration with military partners is essential. You will be part of mobile teams with rigorous deployment readiness, security clearances, and coordination of services for service members, veterans, and

Qualifications

Requires strong computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, HR, or related field is required or equivalent experience.
Public speaking and interpersonal skills are essential for frontline engagement with military leadership and families.

Responsibilities

Coordinate emergency communications and supportive services for service members and families.
Monitor and document program activities; report outcomes and trends.
Build relationships with military leadership, installation partners, and volunteers.
Recruit, mentor, and manage volunteers across SAF/IS and related programs.
Supervise mobile deployment teams and ensure readiness for overseas assignments.
Provide family support, wellness check-ins, and referrals to community resources.
