Job summary

Lam Research in Austin, TX is seeking a Regional Product Support Engineer to provide technical support for field engineers and product specialists across the region. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex electro-mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and rapid issue resolution.

You’ll collaborate with the worldwide technical community, mentor field personnel, and participate in training sessions.

Qualifications

• PhD with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• MS/Engineering with 6+ years of work experience, or BS with 8+ years.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and operation manuals.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with remote and on-site escalation management.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical support for field engineers and customers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex equipment and systems.
• Share knowledge within Lam’s global technical community and mentor others.
• Design or conduct training sessions for staff and customers.
