Job summary

ADM is seeking a Technology Engineer to apply engineering principles across plant process design, optimization, and new technology implementation. The role focuses on ensuring plant systems are designed, built, operated, and maintained at optimal levels in a safety‑minded culture.

The position requires experience with process units, drawings, and capital projects, plus the ability to travel to remote locations as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience with plant process systems at a production facility.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production Manufacturing, Technology, Food Processing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of process drawings and documentation (P&IDs, control narratives).

Responsibilities

Lead and support process safety improvements and a safety culture across the facility.
Benchmark and implement best available technologies to improve performance.
Manage and prioritize capital projects in collaboration with Plant Leadership and regional teams.
Develop a 5-year project portfolio including budgeting, execution, and balancing NDE with productivity/growth.
Collaborate with SMEs to ensure structural integrity of systems and equipment.
Champion new process technologies and design improvements with suppliers.
Standardize operations and share methodologies across teams.
Assist operations in solving technical problems and achieving goals.
Travel to remote plant locations as needed.
