Job summary

ADM is seeking a Process Automation Engineer to support plant operations through troubleshooting and standard work. The role emphasizes applying global standards, advancing process automation, and driving safety and performance initiatives.

The position is onsite with location flexibility based on candidate availability, and involves collaboration with Operations and technology centers to execute projects and document automation systems.

Qualifications

2+ years of process control experience in an industrial setting.
Ability to work well in teams or with minimal supervision to meet operations goals.
Ability and experience coaching and developing colleagues.
Experience using documentation and organizational skills effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly motivated self-starter.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work in extreme temperatures; ability to climb stairs, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with safety and EHS requirements.
Maintain knowledge of production processes and equipment for development and maintenance of process and safety interlocks.
Develops or modifies automation controls and troubleshoots hardware/software deficiencies.
Document process automation hardware/software and related control systems.
Communicate status updates and improvement suggestions.
Pursue industry training and certifications for career growth.
Maintain awareness of cybersecurity fundamentals.
Coordinate with third-party suppliers/contractors.
