Job summary

ADM is seeking a Process/Production Engineer for the Des Moines, IA area. The role is embedded in daily operations to support safety, quality, efficiency, throughputs, and technology improvements.

You will work with operators, supervisors, and managers on-site and with other functions remotely, driving process improvements from conception to start-up. Responsibilities include project design and management, cost tracking, SOP updates, and participation in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering preferred.
• Plant/Industrial experience preferred but not required.
• Project management experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processes and manage projects including materials, equipment, budget, and training.
• Recommend improvements to facilities, equipment, and safety programs.
• Collaborate with shift supervision to achieve operational results.
• Lead Performance Excellence teams initiatives.
