Trane Technologies is seeking an accomplished Regional Preconstruction Business Leader for our North America Energy Services group. This executive will shape regional strategy, drive profitability, and align opportunities with enterprise priorities across Design-Build, ESPC, and turnkey solutions.

Lead a high‑impact team across Sales, Operations and Engineering, delivering sustainable growth, disciplined execution, and superior customer outcomes in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in energy services, preconstruction, project development, or a related field.
• Proven success leading teams and delivering strategic business results.
• Strong understanding of market drivers, risk, development strategy, and customer solutioning.
• Experience managing performance metrics such as project schedules, budgets, and scope.
• Deep knowledge of Energy Services solutions, preconstruction practices, and financial and technical solution development.
• Significant experience with Design-Build and ESPC delivery models.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including forecasting, portfolio prioritization, business case evaluation, and Operating Income management.
• Executive presence, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for the region’s preconstruction business, with accountability for growth, profitability, forecasting accuracy, workforce planning, utilization, and overall business performance.
• Shape regional strategy, investment priorities, and portfolio direction across the Energy Services opportunity landscape.
• Translate enterprise and regional priorities into operating plans, execution strategies, and measurable business outcomes.
• Lead strategic alignment across regional sales and operation teams to ensure focus on the highest-value opportunities and investments.
