Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an accomplished Regional Preconstruction Business Leader for our North America Energy Services business. This role shapes regional strategy, leads profitability, forecasts, and workforce planning across Design-Build, ESPC, and turnkey projects.

You will partner with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and enterprise leadership to drive growth, operational excellence, and customer outcomes, building high-performing teams in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in energy services, preconstruction, project development, or a related field.
• Proven success leading teams and delivering strategic business results.
• Strong understanding of market drivers, risk, development strategy, and customer solutioning.
• Experience managing performance metrics such as project schedules, budgets, and scope.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for the region’s preconstruction business, with accountability for growth, profitability, forecasting accuracy, workforce planning, utilization, and overall business performance.
• Shape regional strategy, investment priorities, and portfolio direction across the Energy Services opportunity landscape.
• Translate enterprise and regional priorities into operating plans, execution strategies, and measurable business outcomes.
• Lead strategic alignment across regional sales and operation teams to ensure focus on the highest-value opportunities and investments.
