Job summary

Herrington Power Transmission seeks a dynamic Sales Representative to drive growth and promote a broad range of power transmission components, including gearmotors, bearings, belts, and motors, for manufacturers in our territory.

The role offers uncapped commissions, profit sharing, and a comprehensive benefits package, with a flexible, team‑oriented environment. Travel is expected up to three days per week as you build lasting customer partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside sales experience.
• Residence location flexible.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Bachelor’s in Business, Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to gain new customers and increase sales.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs.
• Understand and promote our principals' products to offer solutions.
• Provide exceptional customer support and technical/engineering guidance.
• Meet with customers and prospects to demonstrate products - Travel 3 days per week.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Determine channels and partnerships to serve OEM customers.
• Meet sales goals and targets.
