BSC Industries in Youngstown, OH is seeking an outside sales representative to grow revenue across current and new accounts within an assigned territory. You will drive sales activity, manage relationships, and maximize profitability with strategic account plans and CRM tracking.

This role requires a 5-year outside sales background in Power Transmission and Automation, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5 years in outside sales selling Power Transmission and Automation related products.
• Demonstrated success meeting sales goals and growing sales.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques.
• Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), and negotiation skills.
• Motivated self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and distribution software.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Participate with management in creating an annual forecast and territory sales plan with specific account strategies and measurable goals.
• Implement sales plan strategies throughout the year.
• Develop new business at existing and new accounts by maximizing calls, creating opportunities, and offering product and value-added service solutions.
• Utilize CRM to track all sales activity, including calls and pipeline opportunities.
• Contribute to pricing/gross margin decisions to maximize profitability of customer transactions.
• Interface with accounting to resolve customer credit issues.
• Establish, maintain, and improve customer relationships and satisfaction.
• Communicate territory activity with branch and other personnel regarding leads, quotes, returns, credit, pricing, and competition.
• Build relationships with vendor reps; meet and conduct joint sales calls as needed.
• Stay current on product/industry knowledge by attending meetings, training, and trade shows.
