Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. in the Western region seeks a Regional Sales Manager for MEUS Power Semiconductor to train, motivate, and manage a network of manufacturers’ reps and provide direct customer support.

Based at a home office within the region (Western PA, WV, OH, MI, IN, KY, WI, IL), the RMS will develop territory plans, set quotas with the BU Director, collaborate with reps and distributors, and drive design-wins while coordinating with applications engineering.

Qualifications

• BSEE or other technical field.
• At least 5 years selling semiconductor devices.
• Proficiency with SAP, Salesforce.com, and other business software.
• Experience training, motivating, and managing manufacturer reps and distributors.
• Experience with multi-level selling to major accounts with long design cycles.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute territory business expansion plans.
• Work with the BU Director to establish annual sales quotas for the region.
• Collaborate with third-party reps and distributors to achieve or exceed sales plans and provide sales support.
• Handle direct customer support without a representative.
• Set goals for each rep for each fiscal year (new accounts, design-wins, revenue).
• Develop positive customer relationships across engineering to executive levels.
