Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with deep knowledge of merchandising principles.
• Minimum 2 years in Merchandise Buying, Allocation or Planning.
• Strong retail math and analytical skills.
• Excellent computer skills; proficient with MS Office.
• Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with Oracle planning system and JDA Allocation preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation skills.
• Strategic thinking and active listening in cross-functional settings.
• Flexible and capable in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and independently productive.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Regional Planning Manager on special projects to drive regional sales.
• Run regional data analyses, validate results, and propose data-driven strategies.
• Handle tactical execution, analytics, reporting, and findings summaries.
• Assist in developing hind-sighting metrics to measure store planning effectiveness.
• Support new methods for store planning analytics, process improvements, and efficiencies.
• Ensure timely communication of timelines and expectations across teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales and margin opportunities.
• Contribute to initiatives evolving Inventory Management, Store Planning, and Logistics.
• Prepare and deliver presentations; lead meetings and training for Store Planning.
• Analyze sales by location; identify actions to maximize sales, margins and inventory.
• Review trends to adjust inventory and ordering strategies.
• Work with Buyers to create optimal allocations and store grade assortments.
• Provide input on inventory strategies for existing items, new products and phase-outs.
• Create, maintain, and analyze weekly/monthly sales and inventory reports.
