Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Demand Planning & Replenishment Analyst to optimize inventory and ensure product availability in a fast-paced retail environment. You will analyze sales data, forecast demand, and coordinate replenishment with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include building accurate forecasts, monitoring stock levels, and driving improvements in replenishment processes using tools like SAP, Blue Yonder, and Bamboo Rose. A strong analytical mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years in demand planning, replenishment, inventory analytics, or related field.
• Proficiency in forecasting and inventory software (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder, Oracle).
• Strong Excel skills, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization.
• Experience with reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Bamboo Rose order management experience is a plus.
• SQL, Python, or R experience is a plus.
• Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Problem-solving and process improvement mindset.

• Collaborate with Buyers, Planners, Allocation Analysts, and Suppliers on inventory strategy.
• Support system enhancements and automation initiatives for forecasting and replenishment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The roleis responsible foranalyzing inventory data, forecasting demand, andoptimizingreplenishment orders to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory. This role involves working with sales data, internal teams, and market trends to developaccurateforecasts and efficient replenishment strategies. Therolewill collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance inventory management processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Forecasting & Demand Planning

• Develop andmaintainaccuratedemand forecasts using historical sales data, seasonal trends, and market insights.

• Utilize forecasting tools and statistical models to predict future inventory needs.

• Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust models based on demand fluctuations.

• Experience withcore demand forecasting concepts such as run rates,seasonality, lost sales, safety stock

Replenishment & Ordering

• Optimizereplenishment strategies to balance stock availability with cost efficiency.

• Generate and review replenishment orders, ensuringtimelyandaccuratestock levels.

• Adjust ordering parameters based on sales trends, promotions, and internal business needs.

• Leveragereplenishmentsuggested order quantities from Invent to write purchase orders inBamboo Rose

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze key metrics such as inventory turnover, fill rates, and stock levels to drive replenishment decisions.

• Identifytrends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities within replenishment processes.

• Provide reports and insightstoleadership on inventory health, demand patterns, and replenishment performance

• Perform analyses and provide recommendations to support inventory and replenishment decisions.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Directly work with Buyers, Planners, Allocation Analysts and Suppliers on the inventory strategy andfuture forecasts for the core replenishment assortment.

• Support system enhancements and automation initiatives for forecasting and replenishment.

• Help develop best practices for inventory planning and replenishment efficiencyand how our team will partner with cross-functional groups.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics, ora relatedfield.

• Experience: 2+ years in demand planning, replenishment, inventory management,analyticsora related field.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiencyin forecasting and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder, Oracle, etc.).

• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization tools.

• Experience withinterpreting user stories to create reportsin reporting platforms(e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

• Order Management System experience, Bamboo Rose a plus

• SQL/Python/Rexperiencea plus

• Analytical Thinking:Proven ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.

• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in forecasting and ordering.

• Communication Skills: Ability to present findings and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving:Capableofidentifyingissues, recommending effective solutions, andimplementingthose solutions systemically.
