Job summary

Five Below is seeking a seasoned Regional Manager to lead a district of stores across the Minneapolis/Kansas City region. You will coach district managers, drive sales, and protect profitability while upholding the Five Below service model.

The role requires 10+ years in retail with 5+ years multi-store leadership, strong analytics, and the ability to travel up to 50% to visit stores and foster performance across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• 10+ years retail experience with 5+ years multi-store management.
• Experience in retail operations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan strategically and utilize time effectively to accomplish business objectives.
• Ability to exercise independent decision-making and work under little supervision.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate staff in different locations.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to successfully execute corporate business plans.
• Proficiency in computer use and standard office applications.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Act with integrity and honesty in daily operations.
• Model servant leadership and balance short-term needs with long-term goals/objectives.
• Lead a regional team of district managers (DMs) focusing on engagement and performance.
• Coach DMs through problem-solving and decision-making processes to build capability.
• Build a strong talent pipeline, hire quality candidates, and foster retention.
• Provide an exceptional employee experience by supporting promotions and handling disciplinary actions as needed.
• Visit stores regularly to observe performance and provide feedback to store managers and DMs.
• Drive accountability, control expenses, and maximize profit margin while meeting budget targets.
• Collaborate with corporate partners to improve store performance and customer experience.
• Foster a culture of inclusion and customer-obsession across districts.
