Job summary

Lockton Companies is seeking a Regional Leader in Philadelphia, PA to manage a team of consulting professionals servicing employer clients. The ideal candidate will show leadership, strategic oversight, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include directing unit performance, providing direct client support for complex accounts, developing team capabilities, and collaborating on growth initiatives across the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in business related field.
• 15–20 years’ experience in PBMs or health plans.
• 7–10 years management experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy benefits across multiple product lines (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial Health Plan, self-funded).
• Proven experience in developing and executing strategic plans aligned with organizational goals and long-term growth.
• Excellent organization, communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong knowledge of welfare benefits across product lines (medical, dental, life, AD&D, disability) and understanding of risk and insurance.
• Strong computer skills (word processing and spreadsheets).
• Knowledge of differing financial arrangements and products for clients.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and federal/state legislation.
• Willingness to travel and accommodate client/vendor entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Minimal book of business responsibility.
• Overall responsibility for unit performance including growth and persistency.
• Provide direct client support and services for complex/high-profile clients.
• Develop rapport and enhance team-based service delivery for existing and prospective accounts.
• Develop team for consistent, high-value deliverables.
• Allocate resources and assign cases within the unit.
• Lead training and development; primary resource for team members.
• Manage Associates and conduct performance evaluations (salary/bonus) with VP input.
• Support sales opportunities with Producers or Chief Growth Officer.
• Oversee regional book of business and ensure client strategy execution.
• Mentor peers on client deliverables; build relationships with PBMs and pharmacies.
