Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. in the United States seeks a People Operations Business Partner (HR) to partner with Operations leadership across the DC metro area.

You will coach management, drive staffing plans, and lead associate relations investigations, with a focus on retention and compliant people practices. The role requires regular local travel (25–50%), a hybrid work schedule, and a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years HR experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; business and/or HR majors preferred.
• 7+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in HR Generalist roles in associate relations, training, recruiting and people management or equivalent operations experience.
• Training completions required and a Food Handler's Card within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations leadership to coach and develop management teams.
• Lead staffing planning and candidate evaluation for vacant positions.
• Conduct interviews, field visits, and support retention initiatives.
• Coach on associate relations to resolve issues and conduct investigations.
• Support regional strategic planning and pipeline development for candidates.
• Facilitate performance evaluations and employee development discussions.
