Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is seeking a People Operations Business Partner (HR) to serve as a strategic partner to Operations leadership in Hawaii, guiding staffing, coaching, and associate relations across 80-120 stores.

You will drive talent planning, training, and retention initiatives while ensuring effective investigations and problem resolution. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in HR, with 5+ years in generalist roles within a retail/hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; business and/or HR majors preferred.
• 7+ years HR experience with at least 5 years in generalist roles focusing on associate relations, training, recruiting, and people management or equivalent operations management experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations leadership in people planning and coaching of management.
• Evaluate internal candidates for vacant/new positions and identify high potential associates.
• Participate in panel interviews and field visits to improve retention.
• Coach leadership on associate relations and investigate issues.
• Forecast staffing needs and support regional strategic planning.
• Advise on performance evaluations and development opportunities.
• Facilitate onboarding follow-ups and learning opportunities.
