Job summary

Midway Specialty Care is seeking a Regional People Operations Generalist to serve as the primary People Operations partner for a designated region, overseeing 10+ locations. You will work with regional leaders and site managers, handling employee relations, coaching, and lifecycle processes to ensure consistent application of enterprise standards.

You will collaborate with VP, People and cross-functional teams to support onboarding, performance management, leaves, and engagement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources, People Operations, Employee Relations, or HR Generalist experience.
• Strong working knowledge of employment practices and applicable federal and state requirements.
• Experience supporting managers with employee relations, performance management, documentation, leaves, and policy matters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary People Operations partner for leaders, managers, and employees within an assigned region (10+ locations).
• Build trusted relationships with Regional Directors/Managers, Office Managers, providers, and other leaders.
• Maintain regular visibility across locations through site visits, meetings, and proactive communication.
• Support employee relations, performance management, documentation, and policy interpretation to ensure consistency.
• Assist managers with onboarding, changes, and offboarding activities.
• Coordinate employee leave and accommodation processes with payroll and benefits teams.
• Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives within locations.
• Collaborate across Talent Acquisition, Payroll & Benefits, and HR Administration for smooth handoffs.
