Job summary

Bayer seeks a seasoned executive to lead Regional Payer Accounts in the Pacific Northwest, shaping access, reimbursement and policy for Bayer brands. The role partners with Sales Leadership to optimize payer engagement, drive 90-day cycle performance, and coordinate with field teams, National Accounts and FRMs to accelerate payer outcomes.

You will reside in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, or Wyoming, or reside-based in these regions, leading Mission Teams, building strategic payer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical management roles with exposure to market access.
• 3+ years in a supervisory capacity leading teams through influence.
• Experience executing market access strategies for PBM and payer accounts.
• Deep understanding of payer/PBM business models and revenue generation.
• Ability to anticipate policy trends and translate into strategy.
• Strategic thinker who can align regional and national objectives.
• Strong collaboration with regional payers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute customer strategy and business development initiatives.
• Deliver profitable access, reimbursement, and favorable policy for Bayer products at regional accounts.
• Create strategic opportunities to foster durable payer partnerships.
• Provide insights on policy, benefit, and legislation impact to regional market.
• Own regional marketing implications and payer behavior shaping Bayer portfolio.
• Determine engagement directions with Pharmacy Directors and clinical teams.
• Drive payer access across regional payers via alignment with National PBM wins.
• Co-lead Mission Teams with customer squads to address critical access needs.
• Coordinate with AGM, MACs, FRMs, RADs to remove silos and align strategy.
• Represent Bayer at key events/conferences and national customer forums.
