Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Director Regional Payer Accounts for the Pacific Northwest. You will lead engagement strategies with Regional Payer and PBM customers, delivering profitable access and appropriate reimbursement for Bayer products.

You’ll coordinate with field teams, National Accounts, and FRM to drive 90-day cycle performance and remove silos across the organization. The role requires a strategic leader with 10+ years in pharma, 3+ years managed markets, and strong contract/negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years related work experience in management roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
• 3+ years Managed Markets experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience leading teams through influence.
• Experience executing market access strategies for PBM and Payer accounts; contract development/negotiations helpful.
• In-depth understanding of how Payer/PBM businesses operate and generate revenue nationwide and in the market.
• Strategic mindset with ability to create strategies for Bayer product competitiveness.
• Ability to collaborate with regional Payers to align strategies for business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Execute Customer Strategy and Business Development.
• Deliver profitable access, advantageous policy and reimbursement for Bayer products at regional accounts; manage lifecycle of portfolio.
• Create innovative strategic business opportunities for profitable partnerships.
• Provide deep insight into customer enterprise, policy, and legislative impact.
• Own Regional Marketing knowledge and implications for regional customers’ behavior.
• Determine strategic direction of customer engagements for product access with Directors and clinical teams.
• Drive payer access across regional Payers through alignment of National PBM wins.
• Leverage Mission Teams with customer squads to address critical access needs.
