Job summary

Bayer seeks a Director Regional Payer Accounts for the Pacific Northwest to lead customer engagement strategies and manage regional payer and PBM relationships. You will drive profitable access, reimbursement, and policy, collaborating with Sales Leadership to enhance performance.

This role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a deep understanding of payer dynamics. The preferred candidate should reside in Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, or Washington.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in management in the pharmaceutical industry.
• 3+ years in Managed Markets.
• 3+ years supervisory experience or leading teams.
• Experience with PBM and payer contracts and negotiations preferred.
• Understanding of payer/PBM business models and revenue generation.
• Ability to identify future policies and trends with payers and PBMs.

Responsibilities

• Execute Customer Strategy and Business Development.
• Deliver profitable access, favorable policy, and reimbursement for Bayer products at regional accounts.
• Create strategic business opportunities for profitable partnerships.
• Provide insights into customer enterprise, policy, benefits, and legislation impact.
• Own regional marketing knowledge and implications for Bayer portfolio.
• Direct strategic customer engagements with Pharmacy Directors and clinical teams.
• Coordinate with AGM, MACs, FRMs, and RADs to align payer strategies.
