Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Director Regional Payer Accounts Pacific Northwest. You will lead engagement with Regional Payers and PBMs, drive access and reimbursement strategies, and collaborate with Sales Leadership to optimize payer performance in the Pacific Northwest.

The role requires extensive experience in managed markets, with a focus on policy, contracting, and cross-functional leadership across field and national teams. Residence-based in specified states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA is preferred.
• 10+ years of related work experience in management in the pharmaceutical industry.
• 3+ years of Managed Markets experience.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role or leading teams through influence.
• Experience executing market access strategies for PBM and payer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Execute Customer Strategy and Business Development.
• Deliver profitable access, reimbursement and policy for Bayer products at regional accounts.
• Create strategic business opportunities to drive partnerships.
• Provide insights into customer enterprise, policy, and legislation impact.
• Own Regional Marketing knowledge and implications for regional customer behavior.
• Determine strategic direction of customer engagements with Pharmacy Directors and clinical teams.
• Drive payer access across regional Payers via National PBM alignment.
• Create and co-lead Mission Teams focused on critical access needs.
• Coordinate with AGM, MACs, FRMs, RADs and payer marketing to remove silos.
• Represent Bayer at key events and national forums.
