Job summary

Liberty Health in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Regional Mobility Transport Specialist to safely transport residents and clients, maintain appointment calendars, and uphold safety standards. You will log transport records, support QA activities, and build strong relationships with hospitals and health facilities while assisting with basic vehicle maintenance.

The role requires 21+ years old, CPR/First Aid and wheelchair safety training, and a valid NC driver’s license.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Must have CPR, First Aid Training, and wheelchair safety training.
Must possess one of the following certifications: CNA, EMT, or EMR.
Must have a valid state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
Willingness to work with various department directors, patients, families, and providers.
Ability to plan, organize, and follow up on assignments.
Ability to make independent decisions and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Safely transport residents/patients/clients after notification by Transportation Coordinator.
Maintain a calendar of all appointments and ensure transports are completed.
Follow safety guidelines to ensure safe transports.
Maintain paper/electronic logs for each transport and vehicle.
Complete Quality Assurance monitors per policies.
Assist in maintaining relationships with community hospitals and health care facilities.
Assist with basic vehicle maintenance, inspections, restocking, cleaning/disinfecting.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
