Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and of good moral character.
• Requires CPR, First Aid, and wheelchair safety training.
• Must have one of the listed healthcare certifications (CNA/EMT/EMR).
• Must hold a valid state Driver’s License with an approved driving record.
• Ability to plan, organize, and follow up on assignments.
• Ability to work under pressure and be flexible with tasks.
• Willing to transport clients across North Carolina and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents/patients/clients after scheduling.
• Maintain calendar and ensure completion of all transports.
• Follow safety guidelines for resident transports.
• Keep paper/electronic logs for each transport and vehicle.
• Support Quality Assurance monitoring per policies.
• Maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, and care facilities.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance, inspections, and cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
