Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors courteously.
• Verify patient demographic, financial, and insurance information.
• Register and schedule patients for appointments, tests, and procedures.
• Collect and process co-pays, deductibles, and balances due at time of service.
• Provide patients with information on financial assistance and payment plans.
• Explain and obtain signatures on consent forms and disclosures.
• Ensure adherence to EMTALA and privacy regulations.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Document and update patient records in the EHR.
• Follow up on authorizations, referrals, and pre-certifications.
• Provide directions and parking information.
