Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Patient Service Representative to serve as the first connection between the health system and patients. You will greet, check-in/out patients, verify information, and resolve patient needs to ensure a superior experience.

The role requires empathy, accuracy with records, and teamwork across clinics in the Salt Lake area. Responsibilities include scheduling visits, handling registrations, verifying insurance details, and guiding patients through billing

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check-in/out patients and verify information.
• Document calls and patient interactions in the EMR.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals or tests.
• Register patients by updating demographic data in registration system.
• Assist patients with insurance cards and IDs and collect payments as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of role responsibilities and department updates.
