Job summary

Hines, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive new sales and maintain existing accounts in the Northwest Indiana market. The role involves cold calls, quotations, and coordinating deliveries to contractors and customers.

You will promote products, prepare price quotes, and collaborate with teams to meet budget and margin goals, while traveling up to 50% to client sites and job locations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of sales experience in building materials or related industry required.
• Must have a valid driver's license upon hire.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer visits and job sites.

Responsibilities

• Promote, sell, and secure new accounts.
• Provide existing accounts with products, time, and information.
• Assist with product selection to meet customer needs.
• Prepare and coordinate price quotations, terms, delivery dates, and service obligations.
• Resolve customer complaints and problems.
• Assist in collection of accounts receivable.
• Coordinate project and contractor schedules and material deliveries.
• Prepare and input orders as necessary.
• Share competitive prices and area-related information with the company.
• Maintain knowledge of daily/monthly sales relative to budget and margin goals.
• Research and order special products as needed.
• Estimate materials from blueprints supplied by customers/contractors.
• Adhere to Conflict of Interest or Non-Compete terms if applicable.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
