Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of sales experience in building materials or related industry required.
• Ability to negotiate prices and contractual terms.
• Estimating from blueprints and using calculator/computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote, sell, and secure new accounts for the company.
• Provide existing accounts with necessary products, time, and information.
• Assist with product selection to meet customer needs.
• Prepare and communicate price quotations, terms, delivery dates, and service obligations.
• Resolve customer complaints and problems.
• Assist in collecting accounts receivable.
• Coordinate project and material delivery schedules.
• Input orders and maintain accurate records.
• Inform on competitive prices, products, and area insights.
• Maintain knowledge of sales vs. budget and margin goals.
• Research and order special products as needed.
• Estimate materials from customer blueprints.
