Job summary

Stauffer Glove & Safety seeks an experienced Outside Sales Account Manager to join our Midwest Regional Team. You will drive new sales growth, establish market share, and partner with regional branches to support customer needs.

The role requires strong business acumen, urgency, organization, and excellent relationship-building skills, with travel within the territory and collaboration with customer service and operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree or GED equivalent.
• 0-5 years of sales experience in safety distribution, industrial distribution, or MRO.
• Proven ability to grow and manage a substantial client base in large metro regions.
• Excellent communication, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales strategy and develop regional market share in the assigned territory.
• Meet sales goals through new customer growth or introducing new products to existing customers.
• Actively prospect for new customers and establish buying cycles and relationships.
• Collaborate with National Accounts Manager to service National Account locations locally.
• Coordinate renewal activity, pricing, specs, and after‑sales support.
• Provide onsite support for vending services and coordinate orders with operations.
