Job summary

Stauffer Glove & Safety, a family‑owned PPE distributor, seeks an experienced Outside Sales Account Manager to join our Midwest Regional Team. You will execute the sales strategy, grow market share in the assigned territory, develop new customers, and partner with Regional Branch and Customer Service teams to support client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 0–5 years of sales experience in Safety/Industrial distribution or MRO.
• Proven ability to gain market share in new or underperforming territories.
• Excellent communication, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales strategy and develop regional market share in the territory.
• Meet sales goals through new customer growth or new product introductions.
• Prospect for new customers and build customer-supplier relationships locally.
• Collaborate with National Accounts Manager to service existing locations.
• Manage service for all customers in the territory and provide sales information as needed.
• Coordinate renewal activity, pricing, technical specs, and post-sale support.
• Support vending services and coordinate orders, delivery dates, and inventory.
• Provide product training, seminars, and surveys for customers.
