Job summary

Oral Surgery Partners seeks a Regional Clinical Trainer to elevate skills and consistency among surgical assistants and back-office teams across the region. The role includes hands-on instruction, onboarding, ongoing development, and competency coaching to promote safe, efficient clinical practices.

You will partner with regional leadership, travel to practices, and support new surgeon onboarding and provider ramp-ups.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a surgical assistant in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
• 5+ years of experience assisting with IV sedation and/or general anesthesia procedures.
• 3+ years of experience training, mentoring, or onboarding surgical assistants.
• 3+ years of experience supporting new practice openings, new surgeon onboarding, or provider ramp-ups.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on training and coaching to surgical teams across the region.
• Train team on oral surgery workflows, room setup, and postoperative processes.
• Train on general anesthesia workflows, patient monitoring, and safety.
• Reinforce infection control, sterilization, and documentation.
• Identify training gaps and provide focused coaching to address needs.
• Evaluate progress and document competency completion.
• Travel to practices to deliver training and support.
• Develop and maintain standardized onboarding and training materials.
