Job summary

Shopko Optical is seeking a Regional Operations Leader to oversee multiple centers across a defined geographic region. You will drive sales, profitability, and service performance while shaping staffing, training, policy adherence, compliance, optometric relations, and patient experience.

Lead a collaborative team, implement growth plans, monitor center operations, and partner with HR on staffing and performance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant business field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of multi-unit retail management experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build teammate relationships in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong planning, analysis, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall sales, profit, and service performance of multiple centers in a region.
• Develop and execute strategies aligned with corporate direction to drive business.
• Manage staffing, training, policy adherence, compliance, and patient/customer experience.
• Build a strong team with a succession plan for growth and development.
• Drive business results through cross-functional collaboration and center visits.
• Provide leadership to ensure onboarding and training for General Managers and Optometrists.
• Monitor operations guidelines, budgeting, and financial performance.
