Job summary

ZEISS Group in the United States is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive new business in the Central and East North Carolina territory. You will develop and forecast annual sales plans, maintain product knowledge, and represent ZEISS with the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree, 3–5 years of sales experience, strong product knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ sales experience.
• High level of technical/ clinical product knowledge.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
• Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency of GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures; comply with laws.
• Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas for the region.
• Make scheduled, personalized sales demonstrations to the MD and OD market.
• Maintain and analyze territory records to plan, execute and measure results.
• Educate ophthalmologists and staff on operation, utilization and application of ZEISS products.
• Provide timely, accurate written and oral communications to management regarding planned monthly activity; manage a cost center.
• Develop and implement synergy opportunities among Zeiss entities and partners.
• Develop and implement creative marketing approaches for the region.
