Job summary

ZEISS Meditec Inc. in Indianapolis seeks a Regional Sales Manager to drive new business and profit in the Indiana market. You will build product knowledge, forecast orders, and maintain strong client relationships with ophthalmologists and staff.

You will conduct personalized demonstrations, manage territory data, and collaborate with Zeiss teams to create effective regional marketing approaches while meeting company standards of ethics and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of sales experience in ophthalmic or medical devices is preferred.
• Strong product knowledge in ophthalmology and clinical applications.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to multitask.
• Proven negotiation skills and customer relationship management.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business sales and profits (P&L) in the Indiana region.
• Meet or exceed annual revenue and profit quotas.
• Deliver personalized product demonstrations to MD/OD markets in region.
• Maintain territory records and analyze data to improve results.
• Educate ophthalmologists and staff on product operation and benefits.
• Provide timely communications on sales activity and forecasts to management.
• Collaborate with Zeiss teams and partners on synergistic programs.
• Develop creative marketing approaches tailored to regional demand.
