Job summary

IDEX Corporation in the United States is seeking a Regional Manager for the East US and Canada. This senior leader will guide District Managers, Data Managers, and Project Engineers to meet safety, quality, and financial goals while driving customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

You will partner with Sales and Operations to grow regional volume, manage AOP, and ensure strong program execution across multiple districts, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Civil Engineering required; Graduate degree in business or engineering a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in related industry.
• Minimum 3-5 years managing managers and leading multi-site or multi-territory operations.
• PMP certification required.
• Travel within the region up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service and data-based project management for water and sewer infrastructure monitoring through a team of direct-report managers within multiple geographic districts.
• Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
• Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback, support, and accountability.
• Foster employee engagement, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Drive execution of company initiatives, strategic initiatives and operational standards across the region.
• Own the regional financial performance and achievement of Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Revenue Growth, Forecasting, Accounts Receivable (AR), Gross Margin, Contribution Margin, Cost Management and Profitability.
• Accurately forecast performance, collaborate cross-functionally to refine assumptions, and enhance accuracy and reliability.
• Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps at the District or Region level.
• Utilize data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
• Represent the company in the region to suppliers, customers, and statutory bodies so as to promote the products, services, and activities of the organization.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Ensure the highest level of customer service through project work plans and reviews on every project within the region.
• Review, modify and approve project pricing developed by the project managers for the region.
• Support and participate in the development of and compliance with corporate policies, procedures, decisions and activities.
• Complete special projects as requested.
