Job summary

Simplevenue in Atlanta is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee multiunit restaurant operations across markets, driving operational and financial performance, staff development and guest experience.

Based in Atlanta, you will travel regularly to Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Nashville, providing hands‑on leadership during peak service periods and ensuring strict adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multiunit restaurant operations experience leading across locations/markets
• Proven ability to drive operational and financial performance in a multiunit restaurant environment
• Experience managing P&L, labor, food and beverage costs, staffing and operational controls
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and hold management teams accountable
• Strong communication, organizational and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to travel regularly across assigned markets
• Able to work 50–60 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations and performance across assigned markets.
• Evaluate performance across locations and drive action plans to improve results.
• Own regional P&L, including revenue, profitability, budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor labor, food, beverage and operating costs and implement cost controls.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, payroll, inventory and ordering across markets.
• Maintain consistent standards for service, operations and guest experience.
• Lead and develop venue management teams through coaching and performance feedback.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding and training for management and hourly teams.
• Identify operational issues and implement sustained solutions.
• Maintain a hands-on leadership presence during key service periods and across locations.
• Partner with culinary and other internal teams on regional priorities.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for venue and property partners.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and health, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
