Job summary

National Seating & Mobility is seeking a Regional Area Director to lead multiple branches and drive operational excellence across the region. This role partners with the Regional VP and NSM executives to elevate service levels and ensure adherence to company policies.

The position requires extensive travel, strategic leadership, and a strong focus on customer care. You will manage inventory, staff development, and performance metrics to support growth and client independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in business or relevant field.
• 8+ years of progressive management experience with financial and operational responsibilities.
• 5-8 years of leadership experience.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Extensive travel across the region (about 50%).
• Strong problem solving and data analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide full oversight of branch transaction cycle time, margins, expenses, and revenue goals.
• Ensure organizational activities comply with policies, laws, and Joint Commission standards.
• Oversee branch quality and performance improvement; monitor productivity and performance standards.
• Report metrics to Regional VP and executives.
• Ensure proper staffing and participate in interviewing, training, and motivating staff.
• Collaborate with HR to address employee concerns and issues.
• Drive enterprise initiatives for growth and people strategy, including performance and engagement.
• Manage inventory to keep sales and rental stocks cost-effective.
