Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a Regional Manager of Operations to lead and optimize the performance of a region's supported offices. The role requires strategic leadership, strong relationship-building, and a focus on profitability across multiple practices.

The RMO will manage operations, support dentists and practice managers, analyze performance data, and drive initiatives to achieve annual budgets while maintaining high patient service standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business management experience OR associate degree with 3+ years OR Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year experience
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to travel frequently with some overnight stays
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of maturity, initiative and judgment
• Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and relate well with patients

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative operations of 8 to 12 supported dental offices
• Support dentists in growth and development and address operational opportunities
• Motivate team members, resolve conflicts and make decisions
• Analyze business reporting to meet yearly budgetary and EBITDA goals
• Monitor P&L and close gaps between actuals and projections
• Coordinate in-practice visits and quarterly business reviews across practices
• Hire, train and coach Practice Managers
• Participate in interviewing and selecting supported dentists
• Develop workforce planning and retention strategies
• Provide reports and recommendations to management
• Handle other projects as assigned
