Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Cedar Rapids, IA, seeks a Regional Manager, Operations to lead multiple Perkins locations. You will coach General Managers, drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence while ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to Perkins standards.

In this hands-on role, you’ll analyze financial data, develop action plans, and build leadership bench strength. Travel throughout the region and hands-on support are expected to optimize performance and guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred.
• 2–5+ years of restaurant management experience with multi-unit leadership preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop managers across multiple locations.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and P&L management.
• Ability to analyze financial and operational data and translate into action.
• Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Willingness to travel throughout the region and provide hands-on support.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop General Managers and restaurant leadership teams across your region.
• Drive achievement of sales, profit, labor, food cost, productivity, and operational goals.
• Build leadership pipeline by identifying talent and creating bench strength.
• Ensure consistent guest experiences while meeting Perkins standards.
• Review performance, identify trends, and develop action plans to improve results.
• Manage payroll, cash, inventory, operating expenses, and assets.
• Collaborate with General Managers to maintain staffing and training.
• Ensure facilities and equipment maintenance and safety practices are up to date.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges quickly with leadership.
• Conduct regular meetings and visits to review performance and coach teams.
