Job summary

LifeShare Blood Center is seeking an Operations Director to oversee regional blood collection and donor recruitment operations. The role involves developing strategic plans, coaching teams to hit KPIs, and building community relationships to promote our mission.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in healthcare administration or operations management, with supervisory experience and a passion for service. Competitive salary with bonus potential and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; five+ years in operations management/healthcare administration.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in directing and coaching staff.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations governing Blood Banking, AABB standards, OSHA, and cGMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional blood collection and donor recruitment operations.
• Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for donor recruitment and blood collection.
• Direct, develop and coach teams to achieve KPI targets.
• Build relationships with community leaders and groups to promote LifeShare's mission and business needs.
• Ensure operations comply with applicable standards and regulations.
