Job summary

Reporting to operations VP, this role builds strong hospital and community partnerships, ensures regulatory compliance, and develops high-performing management teams.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years' supervision; proficiency with MS Office and a valid driver's license; on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least three years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in blood banking or healthcare preferred.
• Budgets, personnel management, and multi-site operations knowledge.
• Understanding of state and federal regulations governing blood banking and laboratory operations.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; able to meet driver eligibility.
• Willingness to fulfill on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of daily operations across multiple district locations.
• Lead, coach, and develop district management teams with clear performance expectations.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals and community partners to ensure blood product availability.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support growth.
