Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Regional Operations Performance Manager for our Southeast Region to drive process improvements across distribution, manufacturing, and warehousing. You will partner with Divisional VPs, Regional Directors, Branch Managers, and front-line staff to implement standards, lead improvement projects, and sustain gains using data-driven methods.

You will work with local leaders to optimize layouts, product flow, and workforce productivity while ensuring adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• At least five years of increasing responsibility in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or operations across multiple locations.
• Experience leading improvement projects with measurable results.
• Ability to analyze operational and financial data using Excel; Power BI or similar tools preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50-70% including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional projects and improvement initiatives across locations.
• Implement operations-improvement programs and tailor rollout per site.
• Review warehouse, transportation, manufacturing, inventory, and office processes to find delays and improvement opportunities.
• Create clear work procedures, visual tools, and daily operating reviews.
• Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Transportation, and other teams to standardize practices.
• Develop project plans, track results, and raise risks to leadership as needed.
• Help branches sustain new processes and review performance against standards.
