Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Regional Operations Performance Manager for the Southeast Region to drive standardized work, lead improvement projects, and support local leaders across multiple locations.

The role partners with Divisional VPs and Branch Managers to review warehouse, manufacturing, and logistics processes, build clear project plans, and use data to improve service, productivity, quality, and cost while ensuring new methods are sustained; travel will be 50-70%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of increasing responsibility in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or operations across multiple locations.
• Experience leading improvement projects that produced measurable results; proficient in data analysis using Excel; Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional projects, improvement meetings, and problem-solving efforts.
• Implement and adapt company operations-improvement programs across locations while maintaining standards.
• Review warehouse, transportation, manufacturing, inventory, and office processes to identify delays and optimization opportunities.
• Create and implement clear work procedures, visual tools, daily operating reviews, labor plans, and performance checks.
• Collaborate with local leaders to improve layout, product flow, and employee productivity.
• Develop project plans, schedules, actions, and methods to track results.
• Analyze operating measures and financial results to identify root causes and actions.
