Job summary
Texas Oncology is seeking a Regional Oncology Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to provide cross-coverage across Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Infusion nursing units within the Gulf Coast South Region. The role rotates through clinics in Sugar Land, Houston Medical Center, Pearland, Webster, and surrounding areas, with a full-time daytime schedule and no weekends or major holidays.

Qualifications
- RN license in practicing state (Texas preferred).
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience; oncology/infusion/radiation preferred.
- OCN or oncology experience preferred.
- Strong IV and central line skills; EHR proficiency (OncoEMR/Epic).
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
- Conduct health assessments and patient education.
- Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
- Safely administer medications and therapies per protocol.
- Perform venipuncture, access ports, and maintain central lines.
- Monitor lab results and communicate treatment orders.
