Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Regional Oncology Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to support Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Infusion units across the Gulf Coast South Region.

The role involves cross-coverage, rotating through clinics in the Gulf Coast South region, with full-time, weekday daytime schedule and no weekends or major holidays. Opportunities for advancement and LTIP may be available in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license in practicing state and current registration.
• Current BLS certification and CE requirements.
• Oncology experience or infusion/radiation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
• Conduct health assessments and obtain patient histories; provide education.
• Offer psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Safely prepare and administer medications, blood products, and therapies.
