Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Regional Float Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide cross-coverage across Medical, Radiation, and Infusion units in the Dallas Fort Worth West region. The Float Pool offers a dedicated team with diverse assignments in DFWW.

Responsibilities include patient care planning, assessments, education, IV therapy, and coordination with providers. Levels I/II/Senior based on experience; no weekends, on-call, or major holidays.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care.
• Conduct health assessments and obtain histories.
• Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Administer therapies and manage venous access.
• Monitor labs and adjust doses per protocol.
• Coordinate with providers and triage calls.
